Call-In Homecare’s Inverclyde Home Care Services: Achieving Excellence in Care
At Call-In Homecare, we are dedicated to providing exceptional care services to our service users and their families, ensuring their well-being and comfort in their own homes. Our Inverclyde home care services have recently achieved a significant milestone, receiving ‘very good’ ratings across four key questions in our latest Care Inspectorate inspection. This achievement is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and professionalism of our entire team.
A Commitment to Quality Care
The Care Inspectorate’s unannounced inspection, which took place between February 27 and March 6, evaluated our Inverclyde home care services on several critical aspects of care. We are proud to announce that we received grade 5 ratings for wellbeing, leadership, staff team, and the planning of care and support. These high scores reflect our unwavering commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care to our clients.
Wellbeing: Putting Clients First
Our top priority at Call-In Homecare is the wellbeing of our clients. The inspection report highlighted that our colleagues knew the clients well and used this knowledge to provide very good person-centred care. By tailoring our Inverclyde home care services to meet the individual needs and wishes of each client, we ensure that they feel valued and respected. Our team works diligently to maintain strong relationships with clients, providing a sense of trust and comfort.
Leadership: Guiding with Excellence
Effective leadership is crucial in maintaining the high standards of care that we strive for. Our Service Manager, Lesley Agnew, who took on the role in 2023 after working as a coordinator for 13 years, has been instrumental in guiding our Inverclyde team to success. Lesley’s leadership, combined with the support of our Area Manager, Kirstie, Operations Director, Mark, and Governance Team, has created a cohesive and motivated workforce dedicated to providing the best possible Inverclyde home care services. The X grades are a reflection of the fantastic effort by all of our team.
Staff Team: A Cohesive and Dedicated Workforce
The strength of our Inverclyde home care services lies in the dedication and professionalism of our team. The inspection report praised the genuine relationships that our colleagues have with clients, noting that these relationships contribute significantly to the quality of care provided. Our team members are not only skilled and knowledgeable but also compassionate and empathetic, ensuring that clients feel comfortable and supported.
Planning of Care and Support: Tailored to Individual Needs
Effective care planning is essential for delivering personalised care that meets the unique needs of each client. The inspection report commended our staff for their ability to tailor care plans to the specific needs and wishes of clients. By working closely with our service users and their families, as well as collaborating with external professionals, we ensure that our care plans are comprehensive and effective.
Building Strong Community Connections
At Call-In Homecare, we understand the importance of maintaining clients’ connections to their communities. Our staff work hard to help our service users attend local events and stay engaged with their social networks. This approach not only enhances our clients’ quality of life but also promotes a sense of belonging and inclusion.
Looking Ahead
As we celebrate this achievement, we remain focused on continuous improvement. We are committed to maintaining the high standards of care that have earned us these ‘very good’ ratings and to further enhancing our services to meet the evolving needs of our clients. Our goal is to continue making a positive difference in the lives of those we care for, ensuring their wellbeing, comfort, and happiness.
The recent Care Inspectorate inspection results are a testament to the exceptional care provided by our Inverclyde home care services. We are proud of our team’s accomplishments and grateful for the trust and support of our clients and their families.
